The Trading Contest operations team ("we") handles users' personal information for the FX Trading Tournament service "Trading Contest" ("the Service") in accordance with the policy below. This policy applies to all use of the Service.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following information:

  • Email address and password (at sign-up; or basic profile data provided by Google / Discord when using social login)
  • Nickname, avatar image, and Discord ID (if entered in your profile)
  • Exness account linkage info required to join tournaments (Exness email, account numbers, etc.; only when entering a tournament)
  • Trading performance data (for ranking display and prize review)
  • IP address (in irreversible hashed form) and device/browser information (recorded at sign-up to prevent fraudulent multiple registrations), and traffic-source information (such as utm parameters) when you arrive via an ad

2. Purpose of Use

  • Account management and authentication
  • Tournament entry, ranking display, prize review and contact
  • Verification of Exness account linkage (e.g. whether it is linked to the designated IB)
  • Responding to inquiries
  • Operating and improving the Service and preventing misuse

3. Disclosure to Third Parties

We do not disclose personal information to third parties without your consent, except as required by law. However, to verify account linkage for tournament participation, your Exness email and account information are sent to Exness (and its partner API) for matching. This is essential to providing the Service.

4. Third-Party Services We Use

The Service uses the following third-party services, and information may be processed and stored on their servers:

  • Supabase (database & authentication)
  • Vercel (hosting)
  • Discord (community & notifications)
  • Exness (account linkage verification)

5. Data Management

We manage collected personal information appropriately and strive to prevent leakage, loss, or damage. Access to information is limited to the necessary scope.

6. Requests for Disclosure, Correction, Deletion

We will respond promptly and reasonably to requests from the individual for disclosure, correction, suspension of use, or deletion of personal information, after verifying identity. 7. Use of Cookies

The Service uses cookies to maintain login sessions, etc. Disabling cookies in your browser may make some features unavailable.
