Exness official explanation pageHow to check leverage restrictions (in the Exness platform)
- ①A red band on the trading chart with a "higher margin requirement period" tooltip
- ②A three-line icon next to the instrument name in the market watch list
- ③If the required margin on the order screen is larger than usual, a restriction is active
This page lets you check all of that in advance, by instrument.
If your order won't go through
During a restriction, lower maximum leverage means more margin is required for the same size. If your order fails, check:
- Whether that instrument is restricted right now (this page)
- Whether you can reduce the size
- Whether you have enough free margin
- The required margin shown on the Exness trading screen
Once the restriction ends, required margin returns to normal automatically.
