What Is an Exness Demo Trading Contest?
Trading Contest runs forex trading competitions played entirely on Exness demo accounts — practice accounts funded with virtual money. Because you trade on a demo account, no deposit of your own funds is required and entry is free. Top-ranked traders who meet the eligibility conditions receive real prizes.
- ●Free to enter — anyone with an account opened via a Trading Contest link, or an IB-linked account, can join
- ●Runs on a demo account with virtual funds — no deposit needed
- ●Prizes are real — awarded to eligible top traders (see the Terms of Service for the claim process)
How to Join: 5 Steps
1. Open a demo account on Exness
Create a new demo account dedicated to the contest. Account type and starting balance affect eligibility, so follow the step-by-step guide below.
See the demo account setup guide2. Enter an open contest
Sign up or log in on this site, then submit an entry for an open contest with your nickname and account details.

Set up read-only (investor) access in your Exness member area, then enter your login ID, server name, and read-only password when you submit your entry. It's a view-only connection — no one can trade or withdraw through it.
4. Start trading
Wait until your entry status shows "active," then start trading. Once you meet each contest's minimum trade count and volume conditions, your results appear on the ranking.
5. Check the ranking
Rankings are based on ROI (return on investment) and refresh at regular intervals. Finish near the top and you're eligible for a prize.

Each contest has its own detailed rules page, but a few conditions apply broadly:
- ●You must meet each contest's minimum number of trades
- ●There's also a minimum trading volume (lots) requirement per contest — some contests convert non-forex instruments like indices or crypto into a notional-value "normalized lot"
- ●Hedging (holding both a buy and a sell on the same instrument at once) is prohibited and will disqualify the position from the ranking if detected
- ●Deposits, withdrawals, and balance manipulation during the contest are monitored — inflating your starting balance with a deposit results in disqualification
Prizes & Past Contests
